I love Excel saga...I want to see the rest of it! Lately I have been watching Gakuen Heaven, Princess Princess, Ouran Host Club, and Digimon savers as soon as the subs are released^^ I just finished watching the second episode of Sukisyo not too long ago too. It looks cute.

'Gakuen Heaven' is about BL Academy, or Bell Liberty school (I find it amusing that there is a BL with a school called BL Academy). Anyway, this new student Keita is the protagonist and he's wondering why he got accepted, since normally only student with exceptional skills get in, and we later find out that the chairman specially requested him into the school, but the board is'nt happy and wants Keita kicked out. My favorite characters are Naruse the british tennis team captain (who calls Keita 'Honey' from the very first second he meets him^^) and the twins, who pick on Keita and finish eachother's sentances/echo eachother. This is a show for BL fans mostly, so I don't recomend it if you don't know what BL is or don't like shounen ai.
'Princess Princess' is about Kouno, a boy who just transfered to an all boys school and gets appointed to an interesting job-he is required to be a 'princess' which means dressing up as a girl and cheering for the various sports teams of the school. There are three total princesses, which are basically the most bishounen boys in the school. This show is very funny^^ I like Yuujiro the best, although all three princess are fun...Mikoto hates the job, which creates some amusing moments^^'
'Ouran Host Club' is about a girl named Haruhi who is mistaken for a boy when she goes into the Host Club's room. She accidentally breaks a vase and is indebted to the club, so they make her a member (although they make her a 'male' member, as she can pass for a bishounen boy easily). I absolutely adore this show! it is hilarious and I look forward to the new episodes eagerly^^ My favorite characters are the twins, and the funniest episode yet is the one when they fight. I also like Tamaki, the club president, and Honey-kun (who is very similar to Momiji from Fruit's Basket).
'Digimon Savers' is the newest Digimon series. I never watched Digimon much before, but this series is different from the others. the characters are older, and Masaru, the main protagonist, is kind of a punk. He and his partner Agumon actually battle in the first episode, and he cannot get his digisoul for Agumon to evolve without attacking the digimon they are fighting. Agumon refers to Masaru as "aniki' which means 'big brother' or 'boss' in the way that the Yakuza (Japanese Mafia) uses it^^ I am enjoying this show a lot, as it is quite amusing.
The new subbed episodes are released on various days of the week. Princess Princess tends to be released on Fridays, Host Club on Thursdays, and Digimon on Wednesdays, and Gakuen Heaven is released rather sporadically...they fall behind on that one a lot^^' If you want a new series, I highly recomend Host Club^^ it's definately the best of the four!

I watch them on Ashley's computer after she downloads them from Aarin Fantasy, which is a forum we are members of. She might get Digimon savers elsewhere though...I'm not sure.

Heh, Excel Saga is great, and is actually really fun to watch subtitled (if you enjoy trying to see what's happening while at the same time speed-reading hundreds of words per minute). I've seen bits and pieces of a bunch of shows, and, like music, I'll take a liking to a lot of different ones. Area 88 is a great example, although my military background helped a little. I'm just now being exposed to Naruto...and speaking of which, those four books that Hime Riyu got (then read in one day and given to me), I have to start those. Actually, I've already read the first, so I'll I have to do is read three. Whew, that's a load off. [end message]

Okay, I'm taking my time (supported by the fact that I haven't even started book 2). I'll get around to it when I'm really bored, which is most of the time, actually...so it'll have to be when I'm really, really bored. [end message]

Okay, that's cool. Yeah, you don't have to worry about me messing them up or losing them or anything. I'll take good care of them. Heh, I've got pretty much nothing to do this entire week, so I'm sure I'll get around to reading them, and will probably get them back to you if you're at church Sunday. [end message]

Yeah, I'm going to be really bored, too. [sighs, half-moking Riyu] I still haven't gotten around to the books, though, despite that. I had percussion practice today (where we had to do a lot of exercises and where Mr. Lynskey took a pretty big chunk out of a stand after getting angry at Jeremy for not knowing his bass drum part), then I went to my grandparents for a while. I played my grandpa at air hockey, lost to him once, beat him the second time, and then tied him the third. See, even at a lower physical level (due to the exercise), I can at least tie him, and he's pretty good for an old guy. I'm having Chris over tomorrow for a while, so I guess I'll get around to the books on Wednesday or something. We'll see. [end message]

wow, practice sounds like fun...heh heh. Mr. Linskey scares me sometimes. He was just plain creepy at band camp last year. It sound's like you had fun with your grandpa, that's cool. I'm glad that you've got stuff to do. I'm probably going to be here at dad's till around friday, then i'll probably see if i can go out to larry's that way i can be at church. ^^ I can't wait to see ya! You'll have to tell chris that i said hey!

Yeah, Mr. Lynskey's a character, but I like him. My grandpa's a character, too, and he's kind of a dangerous driver. I'll have to demonstrate sometime. Anyway, I hope to see you on Sunday, and I'll be sure to tell Chris you said hi. [end message]

I wouldn't want to be on his bad side, either. I've been alright so far, but it's early in the year. Still, I'm pretty good with human relations, so I think I can work with him pretty well. [end message]
